It has a bug where it stores up all the falling speed when you are on the spinning so if you fall from like 2 inches off of that you'll die no matter what

never mind you fixed it

Hullo! I'll be playing Water Switch tomorrow on stream along with several other games from the 8 Bits to Infinity Jam at 3:30pm EST. I'll be talking about any interesting design decisions as I play, and suggesting improvements if any come to mind. Please feel free to join me live, it'll be extra fun to chat together about your game while playing it :)

Nice game ! Was fun. If you have any extra time to put on this: it happened a couple of times that I pressed the water switch twice in a row, mostly when I would walk toward the switch then turn around while still on the switch. Not sure how to explain it...
Anyway, cute panda and cute umbrella ^^

Thanks for playing and the feedback :)! I'll be sure to look into the switch thing!

I really loved the mechanics for this game, and I feel like your submission was a very successful prototype! It turned out to be super fun to play, and a perfect length for how much time I had to play it. Here are the notes I have:

  • The level design was absolutely wonderful, and made for some slightly tricky puzzles, but just enough for it to fit the jam duration
  • The panda sprite is adorable, and I love them so much!
  • The rock vs Umbrella mechanics was such a great idea, and I could see how this could expand to other aspects as well.
  • There was one glitch with the umbrella and swimming that causes it to toggle in and out.

Overall it was super fun to play!

Thanks for the great feedback! :)

Nice game!

If you do ever add more to it I'd love to try it out again.

Thanks! I'm definitely hoping to revisit it after the jam and make some big updates!

Hi everyone! I originally planned for this game to be much more polished and developed but my week ended up being much busier than it was supposed to be. For now, I made these few short levels as a proof of concept. All feedback and suggestions are absolutely welcome and appreciated! I actually really like the concept and hope to fully flesh it out and finish up the game after the jam! Thanks for checking it out :]

Its great! Cant wait for more!
